Motorcyclist Fatality inTipton

Sunday 9th June 2013 – 8.50pm – Steve Parry.

A motorcyclist has died in a road traffic collision in Tipton this afternoon.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Hurst Lane at 1.50pm.

An ambulance, a paramedic in a rapid response car; a paramedic officer together with the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a motorcyclist had apparently collided with a wall.

“Despite the efforts of ambulance crews at the scene, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
