A pedestrian has been seriously injured following an RTC in Smestow, Swindon, Dudley at just after 1.30am this morning.
A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Trusts MERIT team attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a man and a car that had been in a collision.
“The man, believed to be in his mid 20’s, suffered multiple serious injuries and received emergency treatment at the scene.
“The man was transferred by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Major Trauma Unit for further treatment. The Doctor and the MERIT team travelled with the patient in the ambulance continuing with treatment en route.
“The hospital had been pre alerted to the mans arrival and his serious injuries.
“Unfortunately, his injuries were considered life threatening.”
