Road traffic collision in Gaydon

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a collision with a car in Warwickshire.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the B4451 at Gaydon shortly after 3.45pm today.

A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham in Worcestershire attended.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The motorcyclist, a man in his fifties, had back pain and a fractured leg. He was given pain relief, his leg was splinted and he was immobilised before being flown to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
