Three Midland Motorway Incidents

West Midlands Ambulance Service dealt with three motorway incidents within five minutes of each other earlier this afternoon.

The three incidents took place around 5pm on:

M6 junction 9 south.

“An ambulance and paramedic officer attended a collision between a car and motorbike. One male motorcyclist was treated at the scene for minor injuries and later released.”

 M42 junction 4-5 southbound.

“West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the incident just before 5pm. 999 calls suggested 4 vehicles were involved. One female patient was assessed on scene and later released. A further female was treated for back pain and was taken by ambulance to Hartlands Hospital. An ambulance; ambulance officer and Basics doctor attended the scene.”

M6 Junction 1 southbound

 “An ambulance; a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer attended the scene. Initial calls suggested up to ten vehicles were involved. One female patient with a wrist injury was taken to University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire for assessment and treatment.”
