A woman has been seriously injured in a collision with a lorry in Birmingham.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Alcester Road, Moseley, shortly after 12.25pm today.
The Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Strensham, a senior paramedic officer in a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle, a BASICS Emergency Doctor in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A woman pedestrian in her sixties sustained serious leg injuries and an arm injury which were immediately treated at the scene and she was given pain relief. She was then taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham whose major trauma centre had been put on alert.”
