A man has been rescued from the River Severn in Worcester
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called shortly before 12.30am today (Sunday). Police and the fire service were also called.
An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle and the Trust’s Hazardous Area Response Team attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The emergency services worked together to find the man and get him out of the water. He was suffering from hypothermia and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.”
