3 Injured on Garage Forecourt

Three people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Burslem this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Waterloo Road at just after 6.50am.

Three ambulances; a paramedic officer and a BASICS doctor attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a car had collided with a wall on a garage forecourt in Waterloo Road.

“Two men, believed to be in their twenties, received facial injuries. They were  immobilised with the use of a neck collar and spinal board before being conveyed to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

“A teenager was assessed for neck pain and she was also taken to UHNS for further assessment”
