Fatal RTC in Shropshire


Tuesday 1st April 2014 – 6.30pm – John Hawker.

A motorcyclist has died following an RTC in Shropshire this afternoon.

The incident occurred on Bromfield Road, Ludlow at around 2.30pm.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford with a MERIT trauma doctor on board attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a motorcycle and a HGV that had been in a serious collision.

“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the motorcyclist and they were confirmed dead at the scene.”



We have no further details on this incident, including the gender of the motorcyclist.
