A motorcyclist has been injured following an RTC in Rugby this morning.
The crash occurred on Lawford Road at around 8.25am. An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a man with multiple injuries being cared for by an off duty paramedic and a GP who had been passing the scene.
“Ambulance staff took over treatment of the man, believed to be in his 20’s, who suffered arm, leg, and pelvic injuries in the crash.
“The man’s condition was stabilised and he was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment.
“The hospital had been pre alerted to the man’s arrival and his injuries.”
