A motorcyclist has been injured in a collision with a lorry in north Staffordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Leek Road and Roughcote Lane between Caverswall and Cellarhead shortly before 6.40am today.
A paramedic, a senior paramedic officer, a paramedic area support officer and a BASICS Emergency Doctor attended in rapid response vehicles. An ambulance crew also attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, had leg fractures. His limbs were immobilised. Fluids and pain relief were intravenously administered at the scene and he was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.”
