A pedestrian has suffered serious leg injuries following an RTC in Birmingham this evening.
The incident occurred on Farnborough Road, Castle Vale just after 6.25pm. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a child and a car that had been in a serious collision.
“The child, a boy believed to be eight years old suffered serious leg injuries and received emergency treatment at the scene.
“His condition was stabilised and he was transferred by ambulance to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further emergency treatment.”
