A teenager has suffered serious injuries following an RTC in Worcestershire this afternoon.
The crash occurred on Shinehill Lane, South Littleton, Evesham at around 4.20pm. An ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a car that had left the road and been in collision with a tree. The car had suffered substantial damage.
“The teenager driving the car, a girl believed to be 18 years old suffered serious head injuries and was unconscious.
“She received emergency treatment at the scene and her condition was stabilised. The girl was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Major Trauma Unit for further emergency treatment. A trauma team were awaiting her arrival.
“Unfortunately, the girls injuries were considered life threatening.”
