Fatal RTC in Worcestershire

Thursday 15th January 2015 – 10.30pm – John Hawker.

A man has died and three other have been injured following an RTC in Worcestershire this evening.

The crash occurred on Ribbesford Road, Areley Kings, Stourport on Severn just before 6pm. Two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles and one paramedic officer attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find two cars that had been in a substantial collision.

“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save the man travelling in one car and sadly, he was confirmed dead at the scene.

“Two other men and one woman, all travelling in the second car, all suffered multiple minor injuries and received emergency treatment at the scene. All three were transferred by ambulance to Worcester Royal Hospital for further emergency treatment.”
