Woman injured in collision with car in Birmingham

A woman in her twenties has been taken to a major trauma unit following a collision with a car in Birmingham.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Marsh Hill at 1.05pm today.

Two ambulance crews attended.

A West Midland Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The woman had a head injury, a hip injury and a broken leg.

“Her wounds were dressed by crews at the scene, a splint was applied to her broken leg and she was immobilised before being taken to City Hospital for further assessment and treatment from its trauma unit.”
