Pedestrian injured in Worcestershire

A pedestrian has been injured following an RTC in Worcestershire this afternoon.

The incident occurred on Martley Road, Lower Broadheath at around 2.15pm. A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a car and a pedestrian that had been in a serious collision.

“The pedestrian, a woman believed to be in her 20’s, suffered facial, shoulder and leg injuries. She received emergency treatment at the scene by medics and her condition was stabilised.

“The woman was then transferred by ambulance to Worcester Royal Hospital for further emergency treatment.”
