Two people were fortunate to escape serious injury after their car went through two brick walls and overturned in Dudley this afternoon.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the incident in Warrens Hall Road, Dudley at just after 4.30pm.

Two ambulances and a paramedic support officer in a rapid response car were sent to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews discovered a car had overturned after colliding with two brick walls.

“Two males believed to be in their twenties miraculously escaped serious injury. They extricated themselves from their vehicle before the emergency services arrived.

“After being fully immobilised as a precaution, with the use of a neck collar and spinal board, they were conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
