A woman has been taken to hospital after the car she was driving collided with another vehicle in north Worcestershire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Greatfield Road, Kidderminster shortly before 7.10am today.
An advanced community paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The woman who is in her sixties, managed to get herself out and had a chest injury. She was given pain relief at the scene and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
“Crews at the scene said she was fortunate not to have been more seriously injured and that it was because she was wearing a seatbelt.”
