Two Patients Treated in M6 Crash

Two people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on the M6 motorway this afternoon.

Two ambulance crews were called to a location between Junction 8 and 9 northbound at just after 3.30pm.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A man believed to be in his twenties and a woman in her fifties were treated at the scene by ambulance crews.

“The patients were treated for minor injuries and transferred to Walsall Manor Hospital as a precautionary measure for further assessment.

“Severe congestion on the M6 northbound has been reported as a result of the incident.”
