A motorcyclist has been flown to hospital following a collision with a car in Shropshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Cotwall Lane, High Ercall, shortly before 2.35pm today.
An ambulance crew and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The motorcyclist, a man in his sixties, had a fractured pelvis, a fractured wrist and back pain. A pelvic binder was applied, he was immobilised, given pain relief including advanced pain relief to allow the air ambulance crew to remanipulate the fractured wrist and ensure he was comfortably immobilised. He was flown to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
“A woman who was driving the car involved was experiencing some pains. She and her husband passenger were both assessed and discharged at the scene.”
