Fatal RTC in Coventry

A man has died following an RTC in Coventry last night.

The crash occurred near the junction of Winston Avenue and Winston Close at around 8.00pm.

An ambulance, a paramedic officer and a BASICS Doctor attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a motorcycle and a car that had been in significant collision.

“The man riding the motorcycle had suffered multiple serious injuries in the crash. Advanced life support was carried out by medics but unfortunately, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

“The woman and child travelling in the car were shook up in the incident but were both uninjured.”
