Three patients have been extremely fortunate to walk away without serious injuries following a collision between a car and a van in Warwickshire this morning.

The car suffered significant front end damage in the incident which happened on the A3400 Liveridge Hill in Beaudesert at 11.30am. West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and a paramedic area support officer to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find three patients out of their vehicles following a collision between a car and a van.

“The car had suffered considerable front end damage in the crash but luckily the driver, a man believed to be in his 20s, only suffered minor injuries and after being assessed by ambulance staff was discharged on scene.

“The two men who were travelling in the van, who are also thought to be in their 20s, were uninjured and also discharged on scene.

“The damage to the front of the car demonstrates the serious nature of the collision, therefore it is extremely lucky that all three patients have walked away without serious injury.”
