Sadly despite the best efforts of medics at the scene, nothing could be done to save the life of a biker at an RTC in Shropshire last night.
The crash occurred at the junction of the A41 and the B5065, Sandford, Whitchurch at around 7.10pm. A community first responder, an ambulance, a paramedic officer, a BASICS Doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Stafford attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “An off duty Community First Responder came across a crash between a car and a motorbike and called 999 as well as starting to carry out CPR on the patient.
“The man riding the motorcycle had suffered multiple serious injuries and was in traumatic cardiac arrest.
“Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of everyone present, nothing could be done to save the man and sadly, he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“No one else was injured in the crash.”
