A man has suffered a chest injury after a two vehicle crash in Aldridge this afternoon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Stubbers Green Road at around 1.55pm. A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Stafford attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a man who had been taken out of his car after suffering a chest injury.
“The man, believed to be in his 80’s, received emergency treatment at the scene and his condition was stabilised.
“Following treatment the man was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further treatment.
“No other person was injured in the crash.”
