Fatal RTC

A man has died following an RTC last night in Birmingham.

The incident occurred on Maypole Lane at just before 10pm.  Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic officer and the Trusts MERIT Team attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a motorcyclist that had suffered serious injuries and was in traumatic cardiac arrest.

“A passer-by was carrying out CPR and medics took over resuscitation attempts.  Unfortunately, despite everyone’s best efforts nothing could be done to save the man and he was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.”
