A man and a woman needed trauma care by ambulance staff yesterday after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car.
Warwickshire Police called the service at 4.45pm yesterday reporting the collision near Bridge Street in Coton, Nuneaton. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene. A third ambulance came across the collision and stopped to assist.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find police providing first aid to a man and a woman, the rider and pillion from a motorcycle, who had been involved in a collision with a car. Both sustained serious injuries which required trauma care on scene before being taken by land ambulance on blue lights to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further emergency treatment.”
