Staff Long Service and Excellence Awards
Recognising staff who have given many years of their lives to helping others and examples where colleagues have gone above and beyond in their work is what makes our ‘Staff Long Service and Excellence Awards’ such an incredibly uplifting experience. It is the organisation’s chance to pay tribute to the incredible work that not only helps people in their hour of need, but very often means the difference between life and death for some.
This year, our annual awards took place at the Copthorne Hotel in Brierley Hill on Thursday 13th June and saw awards handed out in the following categories:
- Long Service
- Retirement
- Chief Officer Commendations
- Team Excellence
- Outstanding Student Paramedic
- Mentor of the Year
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Outstanding Leadership
- Apprentices of the Year
- Living Our Organisational Values
- Health and Wellbeing
The event was attended by His Majesty’s Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the West Midlands, Louise Bennet OBE and was hosted by Eric Smith, formerly of BBC Radio Shropshire.
