The Freedom of Information Act 2000 recognises that, as a member of the public, you have the right to know how public services such as the NHS are organised, financed and run and how you can make complaints if you need to. You have the right to know which services are being provided, the targets being set, the standards of services expected as well as the results that are achieved.

West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust responds and publishes (add link to Disclosure Log) to requests for information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

To assist you in looking for information, the Trust has produced a Publication Scheme (a guide to information) in accordance with requirements issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The Trust’s commitment to publish information excludes any information which can legitimately be withheld under the exemptions set out in the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This means that sometimes not all of the material can be made available for publication or the material that is released, may be edited. For example, some information may be exempt from release which falls under the General Data Protection Regulations 2016 and Data Protection Act 2018.

This website is designed to give as much information as possible about the Trust, its people and its services. If the information you require is not accessible on our website or that of another organisation, please contact us using the contact details below.

Your request can only be processed if it is clearly stated what information it is that you require and a contact name and a postal or email address to enable us to forward our reply to. Once these details have been received, we may invite you to view the information or we will send you a copy.

Although most of the information can usually be provided free of charge, in some instances this may not be possible.
