Compliments

Ensuring we provide a high-quality service for patients is the number one priority for the Trust.

Judging by the letters, emails, phone calls and social media messages we receive, we know that many people are really grateful to the staff that come out to help them in their hour of need.

Equally, it may relate to someone helping you over a longer period of time, for example, taking some for renal dialysis over many months. At such a difficult time, a friendly face can make all the difference.

If you would like to pass on a message to the staff that helped you,  we would be delighted to help you.  Our staff really appreciate it. To make it easier for us to identify the individuals, it is really helpful if you are able to provide some or all of the following:

  • Your name and contact details
  • Names of the staff involved (if known)
  • Date, time and location of the incident even if it is only approximate
  • Any other details that you think might be helpful

Here are a few of your comments:

I received amazing support from the two paramedics who delivered my baby girl at home…They we’re the loveliest people, extremely reassuring and caring and made the whole experience a lot more calmer considering how stressful and traumatic it all was being my first baby. I can’t thank the two paramedics enough for how they handled the situation and for the reassurance they gave me and my partner. They did an amazing job and thanks to them we have our beautiful, healthy baby girl.

Thanks for helping my elderly mum in the early hours. Breathing problems. Taken to New Cross Hospital. Will be in 4 few days. Without you I might not have a mum.

I got into a bit of trouble whilst out cycling…A passing ambulance crew spotted me and stopped to offer help, which I gratefully accepted. One of the crew stayed with me whilst another ambulance was called. The crew arrived quickly and helped me, including having my bike kept safely at the nearby Sainsburys…All of this not only seems to be way beyond the call of duty, but was done with care, humour, skill and efficiency. This was my first and hopefully last interaction with an ambulance and its crew, but I’ve been left with an impression that is above and beyond anything that I’ve experienced in any walk of life for as long as I can remember.
