Interim IT Service Desk Manager, George Chana, will be demonstrating plenty of pedal power at the weekend as he takes part in Cycling for Humanity’s annual bike ride.
Starting off in his home city of Birmingham on Saturday, the route covers an incredible 157-miles, before reaching the final destination of the Maharaja Duleep Singh in Elveden, Norfolk. George is no stranger to tough cycling challenges, having cycled from Birmingham to London last year, which raised funds for Unique Home Orphanage to help under privileged children to have an education.
George has recently visited the orphanage in India, which has helped inspire him ahead of this weekend’s challenge.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to completing another charity bike ride, even though I know it won’t be easy. This time we are raising money to help orphanages in India as well as homeless people in the UK. If anyone is able to donate to this cause, I will be extremely grateful.”
