Jamie Arrowsmith – Friday 20th September – 8.50am.
A man has died following an RTC in Birmingham yesterday afternoon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to reports of a collision between a lorry and a pedestrian near to the junction of Pershore Road and Watford Road at 4.41pm and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor with a Critical Care Paramedic to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews discovered one patient, a man, who was the pedestrian.
“He was found to be in a critical condition and already receiving basic life support from an off-duty doctor.
“Ambulance staff began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
