Three people have been taken to hospital following a collision in Halesowen in the early hours of this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to a road traffic collision involving a car and stationary vehicles at the junction of Stourbridge Road and Fox Hollies Drive at 03.55am. Three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic and Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) paramedics attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival ambulance staff found four patients. Firstly, two women who were passengers had sustained serious injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
“They received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment.”
“A third patient, a man who was a passenger was assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious. He received treatment at the scene before he being conveyed to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital for further assessment.”
“A fourth man who was the driver was assessed and did not require treatment from ambulance staff. He received self care advice before being discharged at the scene.”
“No further patients required treatment.”
