Two men have been conveyed to hospital following a road traffic collision in Aston last night.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 9.51pm to a road traffic collision involving two cars on Lichfield Road and Church Road in Aston, Birmingham. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic and the WMAS critical care car attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival we found two men who were the drivers of the vehicles.
“The first man was assessed and had sustained serious injuries. He received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.”
“The second man was assessed had sustained potentially serious injuries and received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to Heartlands Hospital for further assessment.”
“No further patients required treatment.”
