A woman has sadly died following a road traffic collision in Staffordshire yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Boundary Road, Boundary, Cheadle at 4.32pm (Sunday). Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Tatenhill and a North Staffordshire BASICS doctor attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance staff arrived on scene, they found a serious collision involving three cars with one passenger, a woman, receiving CPR by bystanders. The team of ambulance staff worked together to continue emergency care but sadly, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed deceased on scene.
“Two men and a second woman who were involved in the collision were all assessed on scene. All three sustained non-serious injuries and were discharged on scene.”
