WMAS and FastAid supported @westmidlandspolice Knife Crime Awareness Week this afternoon outside the Bullring shopping centre talking about CPR and defibrillation, as well as @thedanielbairdfoundation Bleed Control Kits.
❤️‍🩹 We know the use of a defibrillator can increase the chances of survival if used within the first several minutes of a cardiac arrest, which is why we promote the placement of Public Access Defibrillators across our communities.

Another lifesaving vehicle has become operational for Evesham Community First Responders! 🚑 The new vehicle was booked on to respond to incidents in that same night & was donated by @arrivealiveuk with funding from Worcestershire Free Masons💚.

In 2020 Paramedic Michael was stabbed, along with his crewmate Deena, by the patient they were there to help. His wounds may have healed but the incident changed him, mentally & emotionally.
We're still looking for volunteers to join us as Community First Responders (CFRs) across the region. 💚
