West Midlands Ambulance Service has been part of research since 2010, including patients with stroke, cardiac arrest, trauma and breathing difficulties, as well as high-volume service users and callers with low-acuity illness. Our research into staff wellbeing has measured staff heart cardiovascular risks, tested a group music therapy programme and improved support for staff experiencing the menopause.
