Our services
An ambulance service is about so much more than big yellow vehicles with blue flashing lights. Here you can find more about what we do and the ways in which we can help.
-
Urgent and emergency care (999)
In a life-threatening emergency, such as a cardiac arrest, traumatic injury or severe blood loss or chest pain, you should always call 999 to arrange help.
-
Non-emergency patient transport
As well as dealing with 999 emergency calls, we play a key role in getting hundreds of thousand of patients to and from their hospital appointments.
-
Major incidents
When there’s a major incident, West Midlands Ambulance Service will provide vital emergency lifesaving care at the scene.
