What do I need to apply?
To work with our Trust as a Registered Paramedic, you would need to evidence the following:
- HCPC registration
- Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving qualification
- Full driving licence with category C1 and no more than 3 penalty points

What does the Recruitment Process Involve?
Once you submit your application via NHS Jobs, you will be shortlist based on whether you meet the criteria. This is completed anonymously.
Should your application be shortlisted, you will be invited to attend assessments:
- Highway Code
- Driving
- Fitness
- An interview
- Clinical OSCE
- VIVA Clinical case study
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Successful candidates will need to provide two references (one being your current or most recent employer), an enhanced DBS certificate and you will be required to attend a face-to-face appointment with our occupational health provider to confirm fitness for the role.
I don’t have a Paramedic Science Degree, can I still become a Paramedic?
If you are interested in becoming a paramedic with our Trust, there are two routes into training; you can take the traditional university route and apply as a graduate paramedic, or apply for our vocational apprenticeship route.
