999: On the Frontline

Filmed simultaneously with seven ambulance crews from our Erdington, Coventry and Warwick hubs, this NEW 10-part documentary series on More4 shows in real time the range of cases our paramedics attend.

Episode one of ‘999: On the Frontline’ will be on air at 9.00pm on More4 on Wednesday 13th September, with the other nine episodes following each week.

In episode one, Paramedic Chelsie and Technician Simon rush to save a new-born baby whose heart has stopped.  At the same time Birmingham Paramedics Jo and Peter help a five-year-old boy having an asthma attack, while across the city Student Paramedic Dave must treat his first cardiac arrest after an elderly woman is found in her bed without a pulse.  Erdington Paramedics Rob and Ally are called to help an elderly woman who has had a 10hr nosebleed whilst Jat and Laura respond to a teen who’s been injured playing rugby.
