Are you planning an event and need to make West Midlands Ambulance Service aware or do you require advice on medical provisioning?
If so, the Trust requires notification via email, along with the completed Medical Form – this can be downloaded here. This download also contains more general event medical advice.
Any additional advice on completing the risk assessment and medical plan should be sought from publications such as The Purple Guide, or HSE Guidance. Your local Safety Advisory Group (SAG) is also available for advice – contactable through your Local Authority/Council.
You are strongly advised to complete a comprehensive Medical Risk Assessment for your event.

If you are contacting WMAS to inform us of your Platinum Jubilee road closure – as long as access for emergency vehicles is maintained throughout and the event will have less than 250 attendees, WMAS have no objection and will not require any further information. If emergency access is compromised, or you plan on having more than 250 attendees, then please provide further details. WMAS would also recommend you have an appropriately sized first aid kit available at all times during your event.
